Introduction
Compounder (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is developed by Artur Gorbaczewski. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
Privacy-First Design: Compounder does not create accounts, does not track you, and your financial data never leaves your device.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Compounder iOS application available on the Apple App Store.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Enter (Local Only)
When you use the App, you enter financial data such as:
- Initial investment amounts
- Monthly contribution amounts
- Interest rates and compounding frequencies
- Investment timeframes
- Saved calculation scenarios (Compounder Pro)
This data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework and is never transmitted to us or any third party. We have no access to your financial inputs.
Exported Files (CSV/PDF): You may export your calculation results as a CSV or PDF file. Once exported, these files are saved to your device’s file system or shared via iOS share sheet and are no longer under the App’s control. The Developer has no access to exported files.
1.2 App Preferences
The App stores your preferences locally on your device (via iOS UserDefaults), including:
- Display language
- Currency preferences
- App appearance settings
These preferences remain on your device and are not shared with us.
1.3 Purchase Information (RevenueCat)
If you purchase Compounder Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) solely to verify your purchase and unlock premium features. RevenueCat receives:
- A purchase receipt from Apple (for validation only)
- A random, anonymous device identifier generated by RevenueCat
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or any financial data you enter in the App. Your purchase history is not linked to a personal identity and is not used for advertising or profiling.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above solely to operate the App:
- Your financial inputs are used to perform calculations and display results
- Your preferences are used to personalize the App experience
- Purchase verification via RevenueCat is used to enable Compounder Pro features
We do not use your information for:
- Advertising or targeted marketing
- User profiling or behavioral analytics
- Selling to third parties
- Any purpose unrelated to the App’s core functionality
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as follows:

We do not sell your data. We do not share your financial inputs with anyone.
4. Data Security
All data you enter in the App is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS’s built-in data protection mechanisms. Your device’s passcode/biometric authentication and Apple’s hardware encryption protect your data at rest. We do not maintain servers that store your financial data, so there is no cloud-based risk of your financial information being exposed.
5. Data Retention
All App data (calculations, saved scenarios, preferences) is stored locally on your device and is entirely under your control:

To delete all App data: Delete the Compounder app from your device. This removes all locally stored data.

To delete saved scenarios: Use the in-app delete functionality (Compounder Pro).

Purchase records are maintained by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their own retention policies for the purpose of restore purchases functionality.
We do not retain your data on any servers because we do not receive it.
6. Your Rights
Because Compounder does not collect or store personal data on our end, most data subject requests (access, correction, deletion) are fulfilled by managing your own device:

Access your data: All your data is on your device, visible within the App.

Delete your data: Delete the App from your device, or use in-app deletion features.

7. Children’s Privacy
Compounder is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@nightcodeapps.com and we will take steps to address the situation.
8. Tracking and Analytics
We do not track you. The App’s
NSPrivacyTrackingvalue isfalse. We do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA), cross-app tracking, or behavioral analytics. We do not use any analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar). The App does not engage in cross-site or cross-app tracking.
9. Financial Disclaimer
Compounder is a calculator tool, not a financial advisor. The calculations provided by Compounder are for informational and educational purposes only. They are mathematical projections based on your inputs and do not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. The App does not account for taxes, fees, inflation (unless manually entered), market volatility, or other real-world factors that affect actual investment outcomes.
Always consult a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. For significant changes, we will provide notice within the App.
